Graveside Service for Peggy Mitchell, age 73, of Hanceville, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Missionary Grove Cemetery. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Mitchell passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born March 28, 1948, in Cullman, Alabama, to Robert Woodrow and Mary Francis Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Brown; sister, Judy Swann; and nephews, Monte Brown and Jimmy Brown. Survivors include her sister, Nancy Jane Brown Auston; sister-in-law, Pat Brown; nieces, Kim Walker, Gina Brown, Lisa (Bobby) Lockhart, Heather Tucker Callan, and Kimberly Brown; nephews, Jason Auston and John Auston; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke (Bobby) Tommaselli, Seth Walker, Tiffani (Will) Lang, Jody (T.J.) Hyatt, Holli (Colin) White, Erica Brown, Jacob Auston, Logan Callan, and Randy Hyatt; and a host of extended family.
