Carolyn Jo Patterson Sawyer

Visitation for Carolyn Jo Patterson Sawyer, age 70, of Cullman, will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Sawyer passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was born November 26, 1951, to Robert W. and Julie Wright Patterson. Ms. Sawyer was a graduate of Hanceville High School in 1970. She worked in the floral design industry for years and eventually was a co-owner of her own shop, Ring Around the Roses, in Cullman. She was a wonderful mother and Mela. She was always there to help anyone she could, and she loved her family and they loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Randy Patterson and Terry Patterson; and great-nephew, Colton Evans. Survivors include a daughter, Carrie ( Jimmy) Morrow; grandchildren, Tiffani Morrow, Taran ( Randall) Garrison, and Trevor Morrow; great-granddaughter, Hadley McClure; sisters, Joyce ( James) Duke, Shirley (Ted) Calvert, Shelba ( Jerry) Eddleman, Nellie Hall, and Vivian Ransom; brothers, Bobby (Jackie)Patterson, Gary (Teresa) Patterson, Keith Patterson, and Jeff Patterson; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews; and a special dog, Maddie.
